Mexico Grants Medical Device Patent for babyLance Safety Heelstick

    MEXICO CITY, MEXICO, May 24, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MediPurpose(tm), a master distributor and manufacturer of medical products, today announced an addition to its expanding portfolio of lancet patents.

The medical product company was recently granted patent 314116 for its babyLance(tm) safety heelstick from the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) in Mexico City.

MediPurpose holds numerous international patents that protect its medical device intellectual property (IP), both for babyLance and the SurgiLance(tm) safety lancet. Most recently, the European Patent Office (EPO) granted a patent that protects babyLance's IP in 38 member nations.
