Dr. Rogers receives his patients at his private practice entitled Mark A. Rogers, M.D., P.A. at 2000 Richmond Ave Suite 370 in Houston, Texas. His areas of specialty include sports medicine and orthopedic surgery including complications of joint prosthesis, hand fractures and low back pain. When he is not at his current location, Dr. Rogers serves his patients at West Houston Medical Hospital. In addition to his clinical functions, he maintains lecturing regionally when the time calls for it.
Dr. Rogers graduated in 1985 from the University Of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed his internship at University of Texas in 1986 and his residency at the Eastern Virginia Grad School of Medicine for general orthopedic surgery in 1990. Dr. Rogers ultimately advanced his training with a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Jefferson Medical College in Pennsylvania and Lankanau Hospital in 1991. Board certified in 2004 for Orthopedic Surgery, he is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, Texas Orthopedic Association, and the Houston Orthopedic Association. In 2009, he was given the Castle Connolly Top Doctors: Texas Award. He has additionally written three articles on clinical orthopedics which has gained national recognition.
