Mr. John J. Lanc received his Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the esteemed Czech Technical University in Prague. CTU is recognized internationally for the high quality education it provides through its extensive portfolio of engineering studies. Working closely with both domestic and foreign-based institutions, CTU prepares its graduates to conduct basic and applied research and numerous scientific projects with a comprehensive emphasis on industrial use and application. Upon graduation, Mr. Lanc worked for Konstructiva, the oldest construction company in Czech Republic and in 1969 began his career working in the Hudson Valley area of New York. In April 1985, Mr. Lanc partnered with Mr. Arthur Tully and opened Lanc & Tully Engineering and Surveying, P.C., a consulting firm specializing in Civil Engineering, as well as municipal engineering and land planning and development. Located just outside of the Village of Goshen in Orange County New York, Lanc & Tully serves Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, and Dutchess counties, as well as areas of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut.

The founding partners of Lanc & Tully bring over 40 years of extensive experience and knowledge to the firm. In January 2004, as a result of its stellar services and reputation, Lanc & Tully expanded its principals from two to six in order to meet the high demand for their services. Lanc & Tully currently employs close to thirty professionals offering services by licensed Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Licensed Professional Planner, Staff Engineers, Engineer and Surveying Technicians, Drafters, and Survey Field Crews.
