Anaheim Automation Launches Powerful New Stepper Motor Driver

    ANAHEIM, CA, June 06, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anaheim Automation has recently introduced a new stepper motor driver to their product line; one that offers a myriad of different features and functions that surpass those on the market currently. Their newest driver, the MLA05641, offers exceptionally high torque and performance in a compact design. The easy-to-use driver offers terminal blocks, a rotary pot for current settings, and a visible silkscreen that allows for easy installation and configuration. In addition, the driver features direction control, fault output, motor on/off capabilities, and a built-in short circuit and miswire shutdown protection. The MLA05641 is extremely versatile, providing a wide amperage range from 1.0-5.0 Amps per phase, and operating from an AC voltage range of 95-250 Volts.

Perhaps the most significant feature of the MLA05641 that sets it aside from the rest of Anaheim Automation's stepper drivers, and also makes it stand out among competitors' drivers is its power. The driver is capable of running from 250VAC without requiring a separate DC power supply or transformer. It can generate a motor bus voltage of 350VDC, which can accelerate a motor as fast as any other driver on the market. Despite the high power however, the driver is equipped with a motor current reduction feature that will help keep stepper motors cool at a standstill.
