Francie Stoner Recognized as Professional of the Year by Capital Who's Who

Ms. Stoner earned her Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology from the University of Kansas. Additionally, Ms. Stoner earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Kansas Medical Center.

In July of 2013, with nearly 30 years' experience, Ms. Stoner retired from the Cerner Corporation to pursue a more encompassing approach to healthcare implementation. As Vice President and an executive for the Cerner Corporation, Ms. Stoner was responsible for many vital duties. With a diverse background in medical technology, radiology, emergency medicine, administration, IT, and motivational communication, Ms. Stoner developed great insight, skills, and vision for the direction healthcare, communication and health-related technology should be heading. Motivated by her personal commitment and the need within the Cerner Corp., Francie Stoner was tasked with developing workshops, multi-day seminars and educational opportunities which would assist the individual executive or employee to gain the skills needed to motivate themselves, their colleagues, and their clients into action. Presenting to companies in the United States and worldwide, Ms. Stoner has received numerous awards and international recognition, including the 2011 Kansas University Medical Center Distinguished Alumni Award for the School of Health Professions and in 2011 was the second ever recipient of the Soul Of First Hand, Cerner Corporations philanthropic organization.

Remaining steadfast in her vision to help empower people to develop effective, informational, finely tuned communication and motivational skills, Francie Stoner founded DifCom Designs, LLC. Ms. Stoner makes time to serve on several boards, an outward expression of her personal philosophy. She serves on the Advisory Board of the School of Health Professionals and the Leadership and Education Board at Kansas University Medical Center. She also serves on the Weston Christian Church Board, the Weston Historic Museum Board of Directors and the Weston Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Stoner was a founding board member for the Women Philanthropists for KU, also being one of the Founders of their KU Women 4 KU Women "Elevator" Fund. The "Elevator" Fund helps with a 'lift' opportunity for university seniors and graduate students with a one-time financial gift to get through an obstacle, with the encouragement to send back the "elevator" when they are financially able. Ms. Stoner continues to offer her skills to help improve communication skills with the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Health Professions and the team members throughout the medical community.
