TAMPA, FL, June 12, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nissan has recently announced that it will expand its "No Charge to Charge" promotion. Ferman Nissan of Tampa is pleased to share this latest news, as consumers looking to lease or purchase a new and all-electric Nissan LEAF can benefit from two years of free public charging. (1)
The program is set to be launched in several U.S. markets, and will use the automaker's new EZ-Charge card. This will give owners of the electric vehicle access to the charging networks, including ChargePoint, Blink Network, AeroVironment, and NRG eVgo chargers. The "No Charge to Charge" and EZ-Charge combination provides new LEAF owners with an easy and efficient way to access free public charging. (1)
"Public charging is an important way to provide added range confidence to EV buyers and persuade more shoppers to join the more than 110,000 LEAF drivers around the world," comments Fred Diaz, senior vice president of Nissan Sales & Marketing, Aftersales. (2)
For drivers of the new Nissan LEAF EV who are eager to take advantage of the free charging, and to test the EZ-Charge card, they will not have to wait long. On July 1, the program will be launched in 10 of the top 25 U.S. markets responsible for LEAF sales. Locations include San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Nashville, Phoenix, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Washington, D.C. (1)
More information will be revealed closer to the launch date. In the meantime, you can contact Tampa Nissan dealers for information regarding the all-new and all-electric Nissan LEAF. (1)
