Helena Rebec is Recognized for her Achievements in Administration and Human Resources

    BURNABY, BC, June 12, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Photon Control Inc. Chief Administrative Officer and Investor Relations and Human Resources Manager, Helena Rebec, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in management.

Ms. Rebec brings 24 years of experience, and an expertise in managing public companies as well as maintaining a positive company culture, to Photon Control Inc., a company that develops, manufactures, and distributes optical precision measurement solutions. For the past 14 years, Ms. Rebec has earned consistent and progressively responsible promotions and is currently the company's chief administrative officer and investor relations and human resources manager. In this position, she coordinates and oversees all corporate accounts, develops the structure and format for the Board and Committees' meetings, and serves as a liaison between several different offices within the company. She also coordinates development and implementation of numerous policies in the area of internal controls, investor relations, recruitment, corporate governance and green initiative and works to foster a positive company culture.

Ms. Rebec was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. After five years of her postgraduate career, she decided it was time for a change of scenery and continent, so she moved to Vancouver, where she was offered tenure in private practice business development. However, she remained more inclined toward a career in the high-tech sector, public companies in particular. In both Belgrade and Vancouver, she held several senior and executive positions encompassing corporate administration, development and sustainable solutions to start-up businesses, human resources, and investor relations. She is also a Board member of PAWS 011 Association for the Protection of Animals.

Ms. Rebec studied economics in Belgrade, Serbia, international management and computer education in Vancouver, BC, and is currently pursuing her Investor Relations designation. Ms. Rebec was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding, and maintains affiliation with Women in Business Organizations. She thrives by surrounding herself with people that have a strong ethical compass and who prefer to help and inspire others as she does. Looking forward, she aims to put her passion into helping other people to cultivate a positive mindset and mentoring other women to embrace leadership.
