WFilter 4.1 Added Solutions to Monitor Wireless Users by Username
Press Release June 13, 2014
Wireless users need to authenticate themselves before visiting any webpage.

NANJING, CHINA, June 13, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Most wireless devices obtain IP addresses dynamically via a DHCP service, so management of wireless devices has become a challenge to network administrators. It's not easy to identify wireless devices by IP addresses or MAC addresses.

Recently, IMFirewall Software released WFilter 4.1 version, a network Internet filter software, which provides a solution to identify wireless devices by usernames.

When enabled, mobile users need to authenticate themselves to access Internet. Both active directly authentication and WFilter local authentication are supported. Then you can check devices and users in WFilter console within a few clicks.

With this solution, you also can setup Internet access policies for wireless users.

More details about this solution can be found at: How to monitor wireless users in network with WFilter?
