OKOV - No. 1 Home Improvement Retail Chain in Quality

    ZURICH, SWITZERLAND, June 24, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The first QUDAL - QUality meDAL research in Montenegro shows that the citizens of Montenegro, when it comes to improvement retail chain, consider OKOV as absolutely the top quality on the Montenegrin market.

When it comes to offering equipment for households, kitchen, bathroom; construction equipment; tools, fittings and the gardening range - the consumers assess OKOV as the absolute no. 1 in providing quality. The result achieved indicates the trust that OKOV has built on the Montenegrin market with its range and service offer.

These are the results of the QUDAL - QUality meDAL Montenegro 2014/2015 research conducted by the Swiss organization ICERTIAS (www.icertias.com) on a sample of 1,200 online examinees, exclusively citizens of Montenegro, using the CAWI - DEEPMA method (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing - Deep Mind Awareness).

The Montenegrins were asked within the QUDAL - QUality meDAL Research what products they would buy and what services they would use if they have unlimited amount of money and thereby being guided exclusively by quality when making purchase decisions.

The survey was performed through a web questionnaire, by means of an online form. When it comes to improvement retail chains, the examinees were asked the following question:

'State the name of the home improvement retail chain that in your personal experience and opinion offers absolutely the highest level of quality on the Montenegrin market:'

The largest number of examinees responded to this question with: OKOV.

On the occasion of receiving the QUDAL-QUality meDAL award, the owner and the executive director of Okov, Gojko Bajovic, said: 'We are extremely proud that the results of the research of the Swiss organization ICERTIAS have indisputably confirmed that the public perceives us as the top quality company in our branch. The questions were open-ended, i.e. the examinees were not offered a choice of responses like a), b), and c), but they could freely state what they considered the most relevant answer according to their experience

It is important to mention that the QUDAL research does not measure market shares or the power of a brand but exclusively and only experience, satisfaction with the quality of the service and the offer on the market as perceived by the examinees.

The owner and executive director, Gojko Bajovic, provided a few pieces of information on the company:

'OKOV d.o.o. is a company dealing in the sale of a comprehensive range of products for professionals and DIY workers, as well as for equipping of households. Since its beginnings in 1994, OKOV has developed into a chain store comprised of 13 retail sale facilities covering the entire territory of Montenegro. The company insists on respecting high standards of conceptual arranged of the sales area, product showcases and presentation, in every single store.

In our vision, we strive to make work easier and to make daily life more beautiful in each workshop and each household in Montenegro. With this aim, we are constantly improving and expanding our offer and promoting the service with the careful training of all the employees, but are also additionally expanding our network both through the opening of new retails stores and through increased cooperation with our distributors in smaller towns.

Among our short-term plans, we would like to single out the opening of a new 1,000 m2 store in Berane in July and the opening of a wholesale centre in Herceg-Novi in the autumn.'

Methodology and Sample

The QUDAL - QUality meDAL - Montenegro 2014/2015 Research (www.qudal.com) was conducted by the Swiss house ICERTIAS - International Certification Association GmbH (www.icertias.com) on the territory of Montenegro during the month of March in 2014, by means of an online survey and the CAWI - DEEPMA method (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing - Deep Mind Awareness). 1,200 examinees participated in the survey - all internet users in Montenegro.

The survey encompassed the entire territory of Montenegro.

The QUDAL Project

QUDAL - QUality meDAL (www.qudal.com) is a project of the Swiss organization ICERTIAS - International Certification Association GmbH (www.icertias.com) in Montenegro conducted and represented by the Axios company (www.axios.hr).

The QUDAL project researches and awards entities (products, services, media, public persons, culture and sports etc.) offering the highest level of quality on a certain territory - according to the opinion of the citizens - i.e. the consumers themselves.
