RALEIGH, NC, July 04, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- According to a survey released on 11th June about the status of entrepreneurship the USA, 47% of 5698 US adults polled between April and June of last year said there were "good opportunities" for launching a new business venture. That is up from 43% of 5542 who were surveyed in 2012 and 25% of those surveyed in 2006. The report also found that new business creation has increased since the recession; nearly 13% of the respondents in 2013 said they were starting or working on a new business, about the same as in 2012 and 2011, but up from just 8% in 2009 and 2010.
The WEF Entrepreneurship Report reported that after avoiding the collapse of the global financial crisis, governments around the world are now focused on building a foundation for future growth with the ultimate goal of improving economic growth, prosperity and quality of life; and this foundation is through the successful fostering of entrepreneurship. Results from the survey show that American's were more optimistic about starting a business in 2013 than in any year since 2001, which is helping the recovery of the country's economy.
