Jessica Dunn Honored for Her Public Relation Skills

    BURNABY, BC, July 04, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jessica Dunn, Sales & Marketing Manager of Photon Control Inc. has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in marketing and communications.

Ms. Dunn has four years of experience as a sales and marketing manager with Photon Control Inc. As an expert in marketing and communications, she has broadened her public relations and management skills. On a daily basis, she is responsible for managing two internal team members and over 15 distributors located around the world. She also handles media relations and new products releases along with marketing management.

Looking back on her growing career in marketing and communications, Ms. Dunn attributes her success to being open minded and optimistic. She believes that regardless of a positive or negative experience, you learn something. She is not afraid to dive into the deep end and try something new. After being introduced to Photon Control Inc. four years ago, Ms. Dunn developed a fascination with the company's technology and the story that came with it. She saw the opportunity to create a stronger brand for the company, and in doing so she has grown within the company, which has led to her promotions over the past four years. She started out as a marketing coordinator, and through her work she branded the company and built up the sales and marketing department, eventually moving up into her current position as manager.

Ms. Dunn received a diploma in marketing management with the public relations option from BCIT in 2007. In her spare time, she is currently working on a Bachelor of Commerce from Thompson Rivers University. Outside of her hard work and diligent studies, she plays Division 1 Women's Soccer for Vancouver United FC and volunteers with Dress for Success Vancouver. In years to come, Ms. Dunn hopes to continue her growth in a leadership position. She is interested in understanding all aspects of the business, including the board of director's and corporate governance function.
