CHATTANOOGA, TN, July 15, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Raft One is one of the only Ocoee River youth group river rafting companies to offer large group accommodations. These accommodations are the perfect way for your group to cap off a fun day of team building on the river.
After a day of some of the best white water rafting in U.S., rafters can stay in one of two different types of lodging that Raft One offers: a cabin-style lodge or several camp sites. Each is surprisingly affordable and offers a great way to spend more time on the banks of the Ocoee River.
The Lodge is a newly constructed, fully air conditioned bunkhouse cabin. It has four bunk rooms that can house a total of 43 people in individual beds, two bathrooms, a large common room and a sizable deck with grills and picnic tables. Mattresses are provided, but your group will need to bring pillows, sleeping bags and towels.
If your group would rather rough it, Raft One has two camping areas that will hold plenty of small tents. You will need to remember to bring all of your supplies, including tents, sleeping bags, ground cloths, towels, water containers, garbage bags, lanterns or flashlights, matches and a grill.
"Raft One is planning to build a larger campground that is scheduled to open in 2015, but for now, larger camping groups can camp at the U.S. Forest Services Thunder Rock Campground, located just five minutes from the outpost," says Brent Rogers.
The Lodge rents for $15 per person per night with a 17 person or $250 minimum. Campsites are available first come, first serve for $5 per person per night with no minimum.
