Dr. Dalder has 57 years of professional experience, with five years as Vice President of Edward Dalder Materials Consulting. On a daily basis, he is responsible for running a consulting practice, as well as providing engineering support of welding and brazing projects. This support includes failure analysis and accident reconstruction. Dr. Dalder has more than 50 publications in his field and is known as an expert in welding and brazing.

Looking back, Mr. Dalder attributes his success to his hard work and experience. He became involved in his profession as a result of 50 years of experience in the engineering of materials and their manufacturing processes for engineering systems. He worked in the areas of accident reconstruction and analysis of failures of materials-based systems. The highlight of his career was participating in the design and construction of the world's first fusion reactor.

Dr. Dalder received a Doctorate in Engineering from The Ohio State University. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with the American Welding Society, ASTM, The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society, and The American Society for Materials International. In 1980, he received a Lincoln Medal, acknowledging one of his projects as the best welded structure.
