The mark of a true leader is to make the most of what already exists; that is Mr. Veile's primary focus.
July 24, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ Klaus Veile, CEO of Sapiens Consulting ApS and President of the Danish Rugby Union, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in his career.
The mark of a true leader is to make the most of what already exists; that is Mr. Veile's primary focus. As CEO of Sapiens Consulting, his work consists of integrating and synchronizing processes, e.g. training, development, strategy and culture, across the organization. A key component in Mr. Veile's work is the belief that culture is stronger than any strategy - and for a strategy to work efficiently, it must be supported by culture.
Founded in 1996, Sapiens Consulting is a Sustainable High Performance consulting, coaching and training company specializing in the development of people and organizations, and the client base consists of companies and organizations across the world. To boost performances of corporate leaders, managers and employees, as well as elite athletes, Mr. Veile has created a new, multi-disciplined Sustainable High Performance, PEP (Performance Enhancing Psychology) practitioner program.
Academic Achievements
Klaus Veile studied sports psychology and business at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, while he also gained a BA in psychology from the Universite Paris Diderot. Mr. Veile also holds a diploma in applied sports psychology from the Neurolink Scandinavia Sports Academy and a diploma in psychotherapy from the Scandinavian School of Psychotherapy.
No stranger to the academic world, Mr. Veile now lectures at educational institutions in Finland, France and the UK where he offers the newest insights on change management and leadership. To add to his academic work, Mr. Veile conducts pro bono sessions where he helps children overcome lack of self confidence and spelling difficulties.
Academic institutions, organizations and businesses have honored Mr. Veile with several awards recognizing his work and contribution, including Best Consultant, Best Lecturer and Best Change Agent.
Strong Passion for Rugby
Following a playing career in Denmark, France and South Africa, Mr. Veile was elected president of the Danish Rugby Union in 2013 and took to office with the goal of qualifying the Danish Sevens teams for the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 - and increasing playing numbers and transforming Denmark into a rugby nation. A major organizational revamp is needed to achieve success, and Mr. Veile spearheads all change and development processes.
"Success comes from knowledge, hard work and inner passion, and I have the knowledge, the discipline and the passion," explained Mr. Veile in an interview with Worldwide Who's Who. "This, in turn, motivates others." Mr. Veile also believes that many facets of elite sports can be used to create high performance environments - and that corporate leadership and management philosophies can help to professionalize sports.
Others have also recognized his on- and off-field talents and passion for transforming rugby in Denmark as Nick Morton, a former Danish international, has labeled Mr. Veile: "the best rugby player Denmark has ever produced. His on-field skills are matched only by his off-field manner, and he has been, and still is, a wonderful ambassador for the sport in Denmark."
Olympic Torch Relay
As one of very few Rugbyplayers in the world Mr. Veile was selected to run with the Olympic Torch in the torch relay in Turin, Italy in 2006. He was selected for his courage, stamina, gentlenes, his abillity to forgive and his belief in the human pontial. Mr. Veile was the only person in the world nominated in 3 different catogories and from 3 different countries.
Sustainable High Performance in Business and Sports
For high performance to succeed, it needs to be sustainable and long-term. Success can only be achieved by touching people and equipping them for the challenges ahead, and Mr. Veile possesses that ability. Henrik Brandt, Director at Deltek Systems Inc., points out:
"I have held Klaus in high regard as a professional and mentor since attending one of his training seminars in 2003. He is probably the one individual that has had the most profound influence on my career, providing the tools to manage challenges and organizational changes - and to boost employee performances, as well as my own."
At Sapiens Consulting, the overarching mindset is: people can always improve and processes can always be optimized. Sustainability is essential to all facets of life, but organizations, businesses and athletes need to focus on sustainable high performance according to Mr. Veile. Thus, Sapiens Consulting has introduced Sustainable High Performance Consulting to better equip leaders, individuals, managers and athletes for future challenges - as well as improve their short term and long-term performances and skill set.
Organizations in Denmark were the first to be introduced to the new Sustainable High Performance program. The next step is South Africa and the UK, with more companies across Europe soon to follow.
