Otolaryngologist Joining Advanced Ear, Nose & Throat in Denver Area

    GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO, August 03, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As of Aug. 1, Dr. Dan A. Sdrulla, a board-certified otolaryngologist, joins Advanced Ear, Nose & Throat (www.advancedentdenver.com), an ENT practice in the Denver area that is owned by Dr. Michael R. Menachof.

For the past 12 years, Dr. Menachof has built a successful practice based on his expertise and patient care. To continue offering quality care and treatment to his patients, Dr. Menachof says, he wanted to bring on a board-certified otolaryngology specialist for the Denver area. He identified Dr. Sdrulla as a person who can help in providing the same quality care that he has committed to over the years, he says.

Dr. Sdrulla is an otolaryngologist who specializes in all treatments and diagnoses of the head and neck subspecialty that is part of the ENT field, as well as neurotology. Neurotology is a subspecialty of otolaryngology, in which surgeons complete additional training in order to evaluate and test parts of the nervous system that are directly associated with hearing and balance.

Dr. Sdrulla completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University in 1998, where he graduated with honors. He received both his medical degree and Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Colorado in 2007. He completed his postgraduate residency at the Department of Otolaryngology -- Head and Neck Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

He recently completed a 2-year fellowship in neurotology and skull base surgery at Michigan Ear Institute. There are very few surgeons performing this specialized type of surgery in Colorado.

Dr. Michael R. Menachof (www.advancedentdenver.com) is a board-certified otolaryngologist who specializes in allergies, hearing and sinus problems, and facial plastic surgery. He received his medical degree from University of California San Francisco, graduating in the top 5% of his class and becoming a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Menachof remained in the Bay Area to complete 6 years of internship and residency in head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery. Soon after moving to Denver in 1991, he undertook additional training in allergy medicine and was accepted as a fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. In 2000, Dr. Menachof was instrumental in founding Advanced Ear, Nose & Throat, Dry Creek Hearing and Advanced ENT Allergy in in Denver. He has since been joined in practice by board-certified otolaryngologist Dr. Dan A. Sdrulla.
