Mark Blake, MD, Honored for Excellence in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

    MILWAUKEE, WI, August 14, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark Blake, Surgeon at the Clinic of Cosmetic Surgery, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Blake has eight years of professional experience, with six years as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the Clinic of Cosmetic Surgery. Over the years, he has become an expert in plastic and cosmetic surgery, particularly relating to facial cosmetic surgery and body contouring. On a daily basis, he is medical director of the Clinic of Cosmetic Surgery, L'image Skin Spas, Laser Centers of Wisconsin, Contour Weight Loss and Milwaukee Hair Restoration.

Looking back, Dr. Blake attributes his success to his deep caring for patients and their outcomes. He has a desire to always strive for the best, and he has also had good mentors along the way. He attributes his passion for medicine to the fact that his brother was very ill as a child. He became involved in medicine because he wanted to help others like his brother. He, himself, was hit by a car later in life, and that led him to plastic surgery.

Dr. Blake received an MD from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in 2001 and a Bachelor of Science in biology and zoology from the University of Michigan. In addition to his degrees, he is a board-certified plastic surgeon. He was recently inducted into The American Registry and also maintains affiliation with the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Wisconsin Society of Plastic Surgeons. To benefit others, he serves as a volunteer for Lose the Tattoos. In years to come, Dr. Blake plans to continue to educate other young surgeons.
