The Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica is a government-monitored regulatory agency that processes and certifies all coffee beans before they can be shipped out of the country. Although there are many differences between Blue Mountain and High Mountain blends, the most recognizable factor is the particular elevation of the coffee plantations.
