Ravi Mali Devotes his Industry Know-How to Global Enterprise Cyan, Inc.

At the start of his career, three decades ago, Mr. Mali worked in the telecommunications industry. He began his career in India and continued it upon his move to Dubai. Since this time, he has continued to hone valuable expertise and remain a hard-working and honest professional. These have served as the keys to his success. Before joining Cyan Inc, Mr. Mali served as a regional director at Juniper Networks, where he led company operations in the Middle East and Africa. During his tenure, he was instrumental in bringing Juniper Networks to the Middle East region. He was integral in the exponential growth of the business during his seven years with Juniper Networks.

Mr. Mali now works with Cyan, Inc., a global telecommunications and networking company. His prowess for business expansion in emerging markets allows him to excel in his role as regional director for the Middle East, Africa, and India. Mr. Mali is responsible for bringing the company's innovative "Software Defined Networking" and "Network Function Virtualization" technology, coupled with packet and optical integration, to the emerging markets in these areas.

He is now working to establish offices in Dubai, while building the business in multiple markets using channels and direct relationships with service providers within the region. Looking ahead, Mr. Mali hopes to continue serving as an invaluable resource for his current company, but eventually plans to retire into consulting within the same business market.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi and an MBA in emerging markets from the University of Liverpool.
