The fun begins on September 4 at 7 p.m., when Karma Pub launches Thirsty Thursday Trivia, featuring team trivia competitions as only Chicago Trivia Guys can do them. The fun begins Thursday, September 4 and will continue every Thursday in September.
Karma Pub also is offering $5 Svedka Martini's throughout September.

Route 83 at Route 45, Mundelein, IL) have earned quite a following in Chicago's northern suburbs. Karma Pub was launched as a casual sister to the beautiful Karma Asian Food & Wine, which has been long acknowledged as one of the North Shore's most beautiful and romantic restaurants. Karma Pub has a stylish pub atmosphere, with high-top table seating and a menu of American favorites that everyone enjoys.
Guests at Karma Pub have the option of ordering from either restaurant's menu, giving them a wide range of foods and beverages from which to choose. All dishes are prepared by the excellent culinary team led by Executive Chef Paul Choi.
Pub's menu features starters such as Crispy Wings, with choice of spicy chili-soy, buffalo or Parmesan-basil sauce ($10); Karma Quesadillas with cheddar, Monterey Jack, Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream and Guacamole ($7, with grilled chicken $10, with grilled steak $12); "Diet" Fries topped with three- cheese fondue, tomato, bacon, sour cream and scallions ($6); "Fruits of the Sea" featuring crispy calamari, shrimp, lemon, parsley, garlic Parmesan and tomato-caper aioli ($12); Coconut Shrimp with pineapple sweet & sour, cilantro, and coconut milk "pop rocks" ($12).
Salad choices include Blackened Salmon Salad with seasonal greens, tomato, cucumber, croutons and cheddar ($18); Classic Caesar Salad with romaine hearts, Parmesan, roasted red peppers and garlic-pumpernickel croutons ($7, with grilled chicken $11, with grilled steak $13); and the Wedge, a classic salad with iceberg lettuce, tomato, bacon, cucumber, egg, scallion, and blue cheese dressing ($8).
Karma Pub's burgers and sandwiches are large and delicious. Burgers are served on a fresh pretzel bun with house-made potato chips or French fries. Among the special burger creations are the Breakfast Burger featuring Applewood smoked bacon and cheddar, topped with a sunny side up egg ($13); the BBQ Burger, made with tangy BBQ sauce, cheddar, bacon and tobacco onions ($13); the Southwestern Burger with pepper-jack cheese, crunchy tortilla, Pico de Gallo and chipotle aioli ($13).
Sandwich selections include a Crispy Fish Sandwich made with Alaskan cod, bacon, cheddar, and sour pickle aioli ($14); the Grilled Chicken Club with Swiss, bacon and buttermilk ranch dressing ($10); and the Triple Decker Club, with ham, turkey, salami, Swiss, bacon, lettuce and tomato on toasted whole wheat bread ($11).
Chef Paul Choi's entrees demonstrate that he is just as talented when cooking casual American style as he is in preparing his delicious pan-Asian specialties served at Karma Asian Food & Fine Wine.
Among the selections are Fish & Chips, crispy battered Alaskan Cod, Fries and sour pickle aioli ($16); Grilled Salmon with peas, carrots, bacon, mushroom, potato and chardonnay-pea emulsion ($21); Steak Frites, skirt steak with tempura green beans and wasabi vinaigrette ($19); Roasted Chicken with crispy cauliflower, raisins, cranberries, pine nuts and lemon aioli ($19); and New York Strip Steak served with a wedge salad, cucumber, bacon, blue cheese and buttermilk ($27).
Karma Pub's beverage selection is wide ranging and prices are reasonable. There is a variety of craft beers, on tap and by the bottle, as well as a fine selection of domestic favorites ($4.25-$6.25). Signature cocktails include the Basil Grape, with Svedka vodka, fresh basil, muddle grapes and a splash of ginger ale ($8); the Americano, with Campari, sweet vermouth and soda ($7); the Sazerac with Templeton Rye, bitters and simple syrup ($9); Planters Punch, with Rhum Clement VSOP, lime juice, simple syrup and a dash of bitters ($11); and the Negroni, with Hendricks Gin, Campari and Sweet Vermouth ($8).
