Just Kids Pediatrics, An Innovative, State of the Art and Patient Focused Pediatric Practice, is Pleased to Announce the First of its Kind "Urgent Care for Just Kids"

    OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, September 01, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Just Kids Pediatrics, an innovative, state of the art and patient focused pediatric practice, is pleased to announce the first of its kind "Urgent Care for Just Kids." The new center will be located in southwest Oklahoma City at 2809 SW 119th St., Oklahoma City, OK 73170. Angela K. Yaffe, M.D., will serve as Medical Director of the new Just Kids urgent care, overseeing all medical operations for the practice. The new clinic will be called Just Kids Urgent Care and will open September 1, 2014, Labor Day.

Just Kids Urgent Care will be open Monday-Friday from 5pm-9pm and 9am - 5pm on the weekends and all major holidays, including opening day, Labor Day.

"This 'Urgent Care for Just Kids' is a natural progression of our pediatric primary care clinic. We look forward to continuing to serve the community with high quality urgent care focused on the needs of children and teenagers," said Dr. Angela Yaffe, Medical Director of Just Kids Pediatrics. The practice is led by Pediatric Specialists, including pediatric hospitalists and general community pediatricians, who provide care and treatment for a broad array of illness and injuries including asthma, ear infections, fever and other infections, dehydration, sprains and fractures, wounds requiring stitches and much more. Our office has access to digital x-ray which produces high resolution images that are reviewed by board-certified radiologists, and sent easily to a patient's primary care physician or orthopedist. Additionally, the practices feature an on-site laboratory, which performs blood and urine tests and a variety of rapid tests for infectious diseases.

Unlike most traditional urgent care practices, Just Kids Urgent Care specializes in treating children and teenagers ONLY. Just Kids Urgent Care also takes special care to communicate directly with each patient's primary care provider the day of the patient's visit, ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care. If the patient does not have a primary care provider, our staff will work with the family to find a primary care doctor best suited for them. Each office has access to specialists such as dentists, ENTs, and orthopedists, as needed.
