Justin Kalk Orchestra's VoLcanO Erupts

    NASHVILLE, TN, September 04, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The highly anticipated sophomore album, VoLcanO, from Nashvillian Justin Kalk and his Orchestra is now available for pre-order on iTunes and, as of September 16th, digital music retailers including: Amazon, Xbox, Google Music and many of your favorite online stores worldwide.

With the pre-order already underway, VoLcanO will be available digitally on September 16, 2014 and via order for the exclusive audiophile quality red vinyl edition. The album features twelve powerful electronic rock music tracks recorded by Justin and his core band consisting of Steo Britton on Bass and Jeremy Williams on drums at the legendary Blackbird Studio [Nashville, TN - Kings of Leon, The Raconteurs]. The Grammy winning Producer, Tom Hambridge [Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang, Susan Tedeschi], directed the effort and contributed songwriting assistance. Included is custom artwork from renowned "Gonzo" artist Ralph Steadman, revered for his work with Rolling Stone magazine, Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and craft beer maker Flying Dog Brewery.

The band is hosting an official release party in their homebase of Nashville on September 28 for Lightning 100's weekly concert series, Nashville Sunday Nights at one of Nashville's iconic venues, 3rd and Lindsley. An east coast tour will follow in support of VoLcanO, with shows in Philadelphia, New York City and their hometown of Frederick, MD.

John Heithaus, the album's executive producer and a managing partner of Nashville based SuperStar Records said: "Artists like Justin come around only a few times in a generation.
