Randy Grossman is certified as a Workers' Compensation Law Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. His areas of practice include personal injury, workers' compensation, defective products, construction accidents, asbestos and toxic exposures, wrongful discharge, social security disability, commercial litigation, matrimonial law, and municipal and criminal law. Mr. Grossman is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court District of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He received a B.A. in psychology from The George Washington University and a Juris Doctor from Touro College School of Law - Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Before joining Greenberg, Walden & Grossman, Mr. Grossman was a Partner at Horn Shechtman P.C. in Jersey City, NJ, and was a Judicial Intern for the Hon. Sherwin D. Lester, Presiding Judge of the General Equity Part of the Bergen County Superior Court of New Jersey. He also worked as an associate at Greenberg, Feiner, Wallerstein & Benisch (predecessor of his current firm) from 1987 to 1993, and then returned in 2001. In addition to his regular work, he has volunteered for the Hudson County Bar Foundation, serving 20 years as a Mock Trial Attorney-Advisor for a Hudson County high school in its county and state competitions.
In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Grossman was honored in the New Jersey Law Journal with the Top 20 Personal Injury Award, obtaining one of the top 20 personal injury awards of the 1999 court year, receiving a $4.16 million judgment. In addition, he has appeared in New Jersey Monthly Magazine in the New Jersey Super Lawyer section from 2005 to 2014, and has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell since 2010.
Mr. Grossman is a founding member and trustee of the New Jersey Chapter of the Workplace Injury Litigation Group. Recently inducted into The American Registry, he also maintains affiliation as a PAC Member of the New Jersey Association for Justice, the New Jersey State Bar Association, Hudson County Bar Association, and Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. He was named among New Jersey's Top Legal Minds as published by Inside Jersey.
