-Help keep your CRS solidly in place against the seat bottom and back with a non-slip kitchen cabinet liner.
-Florida families can use a short piece of those ubiquitous foam pool noodles to stabilize an infant restraint and ensure that it's installed at the proper angle.
-To make sure the CRS is cinched into the vehicle as tightly as possible, have a second person push the CRS against the seat cushions while you tighten the straps.
-If the seat back is adjustable, recline it a bit before installing your CRS. Then move the seat to its upright position to ensure a stable fit.
-Check your installation by pushing side to side where the restraint belt goes. If it wiggles more than an inch, you need to tighten it even further.
