    CALGARY, AB, September 19, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shaheena Nanji, Vice President and Director of Operations of FANS International Hospitality Group for Holiday Inn Express & Suites Downtown London, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Nanji has amassed eight years of industry experience, which demonstrates her perseverance and commitment. Her duties in her current role of a year are running hotel operations, including revenue management, guest services management, guest compliance, human resources, training and security. She has been able to bring the hotel to being one of the top properties in London.

In the future, Ms. Nanji aims for continued growth, as well as to expand her family's hospitality consultancy firm on a global basis. Her family has been in the industry for 30 years, so she was born into the field. Her family's inspiration, as well as her passion, have contributed to her success.

Ms. Nanji enhanced her natural skills by earning an MBA in hospitality finance and marketing from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management (2010), a postgraduate diploma in hotel management (2009), and a bachelor's degree in biology, with a minor in sociology (2008). Previously in her work with other resorts, she was instrumental in improving their standings in the top 25 hotels in the world.

Among Ms. Nanji's awards are being a Top Female Executive in Hospitality of Worldwide Branding, and the Top Academic Score and Valedictorian from Les Roches. Charitably, she supports the World Partnership Walk of AKDN and tutors refugees from Afghanistan.
