National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Betty Rundle as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    TUCSON, AZ, September 23, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Betty Rundle, Owner and Manager of Satin Doll Boutique, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through the National Association of Distinguished Professionals. Ms. Rundle will be featured in the upcoming edition of the NADP Women of Distinction Magazine in 2014.

Retired Anesthetist Betty Rundle attended Augustana School of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois, graduating in September 1958. Working for three months at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, she immediately entered The University of Michigan School of Anesthesia in 1959. Working in anesthesia for 45 years was never work, it was a passion. It was the most satisfying work she has ever done and enjoyed every minute of it until she retired in 2005.

Now the owner and manager of her online fashion and jewelry internet business since 2005, Ms. Rundle has always been interested in fashion. She used to sew her own clothing in high school and even made her own prom dress. Selecting the gowns and dresses for the site, Ms. Rundle also manages the website and its upkeep, including photos, and makes all of the gemstone beaded jewelry that she sells online.

"I am inspired by the jewelry that I design and create," Ms. Rundle said. "This career I will not voluntarily retire from. I feel that making jewelry is somewhat of an invention. It is a lot of fun, but I must constantly work at it. Running a company can sometimes be a challenge."

Ms. Rundle earned her high school diploma from Wakefield High School in 1955, her RN from Augustana School of Nursing in 1958, her CRNA from The University of Michigan School of Anesthesia in 1960, and her BS in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph's College in 1985.

In Ms. Rundle's down time, she enjoys golf, playing bridge, bowling, taking cruises, playing in the church bell choir, singing in the church choir, reading, and sewing. Married to Bill F. William Rundle in 1962, she and her husband have four children combined. Sadly, they lost their youngest son, Bill Jr., in a car accident. As a result, Ms. Rundle created the Bill Rundle Nurse Anesthesia Scholarship for student anesthetists.
