PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA, September 25, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Berger received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry, which is now known as Kornburg Dental School, in 1972. He was one of the first dental students to graduate from dental school in 3 1/2 years. In 1972 he served as a Captain in the United States Army in Augusta, Georgia for two years at the Eisenhower Medical Center. After leaving the military in 1974, he conducted a residency at Temple Dental School for two years and earned a degree in Pediatric Dentistry. He has been practicing dentistry since 1976 in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Berger is on staff at Mercy Suburban Hospital, East Norriton, Pennsylvania and Virtua Hospital in Voorhes, New Jersey. In 1983 he became Board Certified in addition to becoming a Diplomat with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He also became certified by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He was certified by the Institute for Graduate Dentists for Orthodontics in 1985. In 1988 he became a Professional member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He was the recipient of the American Dental Association Dentist Recognition Award of 1987 for excellence in dentistry.
He lectured in 1976 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Pain Control and Sedation. In 1992 in Venice, Italy he lectured at the XIth International Association of Dentistry for the Handicapped.
He has been married for over four decades to Linda and has three daughters, Stephanie, Jessica and Melissa and one son, Adam. He is currently the proud grandfather to Natalie, Charlotte, James, Lucas, Ramsey, Audrey and Ziggy. Dr. Berger and his family currently reside in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Berger has always provided the highest level of care for all patients. He treats children that need cosmetic makeovers and to educate the child and parents on the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth by diet and routine dental visits.
