National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Steve C. Gostin as VIP Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry

    COSTA MESA, CA, October 01, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Steve C. Gostin, Vice-President of Operations and Marketing at Jerry's Wood Fired Dogs, has been selected as a VIP Member of National Association of Distinguished Professionals. The selection recognizes Steve C. Gostin's commitment to excellence in Hospitality.

Steve Gostin had plans to live out his career as a police officer, but after just seven years as a non-sworn he was left struggling due to an injury. Working as a bouncer and bartending in the mid 1980's through the early 1990's, he eventually found himself managing in the hospitality and service industry.

Now serving as the VP of operations of Jerry's Wood Fired Dogs, Mr. Gostin oversees all operations for the business. He has been tasked with implementing new systems and identifying areas to improve upon overall operations to create a more effective, efficient, and profitable company. He is also in charge of training, overseeing franchise operations, and, most recently, has taken on the role of marketing.

"I have worked in a variety of settings that have allowed me to learn more about operations in different businesses," Mr. Gostin said. "But my ability to learn how to make money and then teach it has truly helped me to become a better business manager and leader."

Mr. Gostin also teaches as an adjunct professor at the Art Institute of California-Orange County for the past two years. Teaching has truly opened his eyes and renewed his passion for his career.

With aspirations of taking Jerry's Wood Fired Dogs to the next level and continue to grow the company, Mr. Gostin's goals for 2015 include getting on a path that will land him a promotion to CEO. Inspired greatly by his father, Leonard Gostin, and former GM, Richard Kline, who both taught him so much about business, as well as his students who serve as proof that he is doing more things right, Mr. Gostin is equally grateful for the many past and current colleagues that he's had the pleasure to work with along the way.

Mr. Gostin will be featured in the upcoming fall 2014 edition of Top 100 Industry Experts magazine, published through NADP that features biographies of some of the top professionals from across the globe.
