They are in a sense, combinations of selfies and street photographs incorporating someone else's face.
NEW YORK, NY, September 30, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Imagine being in NYC without leaving your home... it starts with making fun, whimsical portraits, which are then sent to the artist. It culminates in Surrogate Selfies made on the streets of New York City by artist, entrepreneur Tevin Abeshouse, using your silhouetted image on-a-stick, instead of his own head!
"The Surrogate Selfie Project - You and Me in NYC," is a fun Photography/KickStarter project that puts you in the middle of a NYC Artist's Street Photography. Tevin Abeshouse has created a photo project that has just launched on KickStarter and takes the selfie to another level! "They are in a sense, combinations of selfies and street photographs incorporating someone else's face," says Artist Tevin Abeshouse.
People can choose from a list of five locations, or a "leave it up to me" choice, in which Tevin will use his own favorite NYC places, or they can choose the "Holiday" version. Your Surrogate Selfie would be sent as a digital document, and/or a signed 11" x 14" high quality print, and/or a book with the best images from the project. Whichever you choose, its a great conversation piece!
Become a part of the fabric of NYC, see yourself in this fun, interesting project.
After a 35 year career as a graphic designer/art director has slowed, Tevin Abeshouse, a fifty something NYC Artist, turns to crowd funding to create and finance his novel new project: The Surrogate Selfie Project - You and Me in NYC! He has lived and photographed the streets of NYC for more than twenty years and comes from a family of artists and entrepreneurs.
KickStarter has selected Surrogate Selfies for their "Staff Picks" and their "New & Noteworthy" sections. You can see the project at www.kickstarter.com and the website at www.surrogateselfies.com.
