Loving on Me is a business, and we're in the business of doing good. ~Katrina McGhee
NEW YORK, NY, October 01, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- To celebrate the second anniversary of Loving on Me, a global empowerment movement to encourage women to love themselves more, the organization has launched a new product line that inspires while also giving back to the greater community.
Loving on Me Founder and CEO Katrina McGhee, former Susan G. Komen for the Cure chief marketing officer, launched the Loving On Me movement to inspire women around the globe with a message of self-love, self-respect and empowerment. The new gift line is cause marketing at its best, with products including T-shirts, journals, coffee mugs and bags that make positive affirmations a part of everyday life, while also raising money for causes supporting women and girls.
"Loving on Me is a business, and we're in the business of doing good," said McGhee. "Our community helps women believe in and love themselves, but we also have to put that love into action by developing the seeds of unimaginable success within ourselves and giving that success back to our greater global community."
Thanks to thousands of women who have joined McGhee on her mission, she is able to expand, further differentiating the organization from anything in the marketplace. Today, Loving on Me is both a robust social media community brimming with expert contributors, followers and supporters and a retailer providing inspiration and raising funds to spread the message and provide support.
In conjunction with the launch, McGhee reinforced what she calls "Love in Action" through donations of $1,500 each to Minnie's Food Pantry, a Dallas-based provider of healthy, nutritious food and red carpet service, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Loving on Me will continue its mission to inspire Love in Action with awareness and fundraising initiatives throughout the year. In addition to the product line, the Loving on Me platform includes inspirational videos, also seen on the BYL Network, plus the Loving on Me blog, which features relevant life lessons from contributors ranging from students to senior executives in locales around the world.
