Katherine Scardino has been specializing in criminal defense law for the past three decades. She received her JD from the University of Houston, Bates College of Law, in 1984 after graduating from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in 1981. She has expertly handled 59 capital cases, thus making a name for herself as an advocate for clients charged with capital murder. Ms. Scardino also heartily supports women who practice criminal defense law. A speaker at seminars sponsored by the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Texas, and other organizations, Ms. Scardino attributes the success she had found in her career to hard work.
