Joseph F. Emmerth IV Honored for his Legal Expertise

    WHEATON, IL, October 10, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joseph F. Emmerth IV, Partner & Lawyer of Sullivan Taylor and Gumina, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in law.

Mr. Emmerth has nine years of professional experience in family law, and is a partner at the law firm of Sullivan Taylor and Gumina, P.C. Throughout his career, he has become known for bringing good results to cases that were considered hopeless by peers and clients alike. On a daily basis, he is responsible for serving the practice as a partner and litigator, particularly within the areas of domestic relations law and litigation. Mr. Emmerth became involved in his profession after initially working as a therapist, and then decided to change careers in order to apply his counseling and therapy skills to the field of family law.

Mr. Emmerth received a JD from DePaul University College of Law, a Master of Arts in counseling from Andrews University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Ambassador University. In addition to his degrees, he is a certified mediator. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the U.S. Supreme Court Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Associations, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. In recognition of his talent and dedication, he was honored as a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2011 until 2013, a peer-rated honor awarded to less than 2% of lawyers under 40. In 2014, he was voted a Super Lawyer. He also maintains a 10.0 AVVO Rating. In the coming years, Mr. Emmerth would like to have a larger practice, open an additional office and expand regionally.
