Inaugural Colors of India Exhibit at India Fest Tampa 2014

    TAMPA, FL, October 20, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Desh Videsh Media Group and The Arpan Group partner to showcase, for the first time ever, the Colors of India, an exhibit depicting the majestic landscapes and rich cultural history of India, one that is as diverse and varied as its people.

The Colors of India exhibit will provide a stimulating visual representation of the Indian heritage at India Fest Tampa 2014, an annual event that attracts over 15,000 attendees across Florida and the Southeast US. In sync with the overall theme for the festival, the 1,000 square foot exhibition area will be decorated with notable photographs depicting the vast culture of India.

"About 200 such photographs will adorn the pavilion," said Raj Shah co-owner of Desh Videsh Media Group. He adds, "India is so much more than depicted by Bollywood films. I am excited to share all aspects of India with attendees." These photographs are collected from various sources such as the India Tourist Office and award-winning photographers.

"Through this pavilion we hope to share the diverse cultural makeup of India with festival-goers. Photographs will, of course, include well-known tourist attractions, but also images of everyday life," said Rina Shah, CEO of The Arpan Group. The pavilion will also include large screen televisions, which will play interviews with the celebrities who have recently visited India, as well as clothing and artifacts representing the Indian culture. Known for a cultural wealth dating to prehistoric times, the exhibit will also feature the rishis, saints and leaders of India.
