"Bullying is not a rite of passage or part of the competitive spirit," writes Dr. Seifert. "Victims of bullies can be severely harmed by the experience, especially if it is chronic."
BOSTON, MA, October 21, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Kathryn Seifert, a leading expert who has amassed over 30 years of experience in the fields of violence reduction and mental health, is pleased to announce the release of her new eBook, Bullying, Sexual Identity, & Violence: Issues at School & Home for Parents. With her copious amounts of experience, Dr. Seifert has written a comprehensive guide for parents wondering how to conscientiously raise their child through some of the most delicate times of his/her development.
In Bullying, Sexual Identity, & Violence: Issues at School & Home for Parents, Dr. Seifert lends instruction for situations ranging from bullying in school and overcoming childhood tragedy, to low-budget parenting and sexual behavior in childhood. Dr. Seifert focuses especially on bullying, providing succinct instructions to parents who fear their child has fallen victim to the harmful practice that is all too common in our schools and neighborhoods. "Bullying is not a rite of passage or part of the competitive spirit," writes Dr. Seifert. "Victims of bullies can be severely harmed by the experience, especially if it is chronic."
Dr. Seifert does not neglect to analyze the Bully, either. With her vast research on what causes children to grow up to be violent perpetrators, the Bully is often a victim who re-victimizes others: "Bullies often have emotional problems, histories of trauma, and inadequate problem solving and social skills. Bullying is their self-defense mechanism to protect their insecurity."
Dr. Seifert understands the need for guidance when it comes to navigating through parenthood during your child's preciously important formative years. With Bullying, Sexual Identity, & Violence: Issues at School & Home for Parents, Seifert takes you step by step through the potentially harmful scenarios that arise in any child's early years, and displays how you can effectively ensure the best possible outcomes.
