The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied (HANOA) will honor Medical Fields Leaders who use Philanthropy to improve health, particularly their participation to help launching the Belle Glade Multicultural Healthfair earlier this year. Leaders honored are:

The event will also salute two key figures in HANOA's history: President Mr. Yves Labady will receive the Health Champion Award for his leadership and long tenure with The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied (HANOA) and Vice President Louise Lorraine Voltaire will receive special recognition for her longtime commitment to leadership of the Board of HANOA and her outstanding initiative in creating the Belle Glade Multicultural Health Fair.

The Haitian American Nursing Organization & Allied, a non-profit organization, was established in 2010 to provide nurses the opportunity to unite as a group; to share and provide ideas of interest; and to become effectively involved with the issues and services relevant to the health and welfare of communities in Florida. HANOA fosters awareness and commitment to providing excellent nursing services. Additionally, the organization strives to increase the enrollment of Haitian nursing students through education and mentoring opportunities, as well as, creating community-networking opportunities for its members.
