Did Noah's Flood Destroy Atlantis and Damage the Pyramids? Author and Researcher Dennis Brooks' New Book, "Atlantis Pyramids Floods," Answers Many Questions Regarding the Two Legends

    HONOLULU, HI, October 29, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The short answers: Noah's Flood was caused by a comet that broke up and hit the earth and ocean as fragments. Many of the fragments landed in the ocean and within the Americas. Some estimations claim that over 500,000 fragments hit the Americas alone. The resulting craters are called Carolina Bays. These craters are concentrated along the Atlantic seaboard within the coastal states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, and even as far away as Nebraska. In Maryland, they are called Maryland Basins. Comet fragments also landed in Mexico and in the Gulf of Mexico. Although the continent of Atlantis was bombarded with comet fragments for two days, it survived.

Each fragment that hit the ocean created a new set of tsunami waves. These waves covered all the costal areas within and around the Atlantic Ocean: the Americas, Europe, and Africa. They also flooded the Mediterranean Basin temporarily raising sea level to 655 feet to create the greatest flood of all. Scientists have tested the silt left around the pyramids to date both Noah's Flood and the destruction of Atlantis. Radiocarbon dating has dated the fossils in the silt to 11,600 B.C.E.

Plato said that Atlantis was part of a boundless continent. In this case that would be two continents together. He spoke of the continent opposite from Atlantis that can only be South America. The continent of Atlantis was North America.

Plato: "...and from these you might pass to the whole of the opposite continent which surrounded the true ocean; for this sea which is within the Straits of Heracles (Strait of Gibraltar) is only a harbour, having a narrow entrance, but that other is a real sea, and the surrounding land may be most truly called a boundless continent." Dennis Brooks has spent over 20 years researching Atlantis. In 1995 he found that theL Florida Plain matched the description Plato gave as the Plain of Atlantis. Since then, he has been looking for other ways to connect Atlantis to the Americas and Egypt. In 2012 he published a book called Atlantis: Ten Tribes of the Americas, which is being rewritten.
