BRISTOL, PA, October 30, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gentell Executive Vice President and Founder David Navazio recently announced the acquisition of the assets of H&H Products, a division of Tri-State Surgical Supplies focused exclusively on skincare for nursing homes. H&H manufactures products under the H+H, Sterex Medical, and Gentle Plus brand names.
The H&H product line includes A, D & E ointment, as well as shampoo, toothpaste, baby oil, body spray, baby powder, deodorant, hand and body lotion, shaving cream, skin moisturizers, mouth wash, ostomy spray cleanser, zinc oxide, and bacitracin. These new product offerings will expand the Gentell line of skin care and skin protection products for nursing homes, hospitals and home health agencies.
The most popular H&H product is A, D & E ointment, which has been used for decades to effectively treat diaper rash and dry, chapped skin. Formulated with vitamins A, D & E, the soothing skin rash ointment temporarily protects minor cuts, scrapes and burns.
The "Gentle Plus" line of bath products is also a popular item for nursing homes. Gentle Plus Shaving Cream, for instance, creates a rich lather that conditions sensitive skin, preventing razor drag and reducing razor burn and nicks. Gentle Plus Hospital Bath Shampoo is a gentle, clean-rinsing shampoo and body wash with a mild, non-alkaline formula that is Bio-Ph balanced. All products are hypoallergenic and dermatologist approved for routine use with sensitive skin.
Integration of the two companies is currently underway, as Gentell moves inventory and machines from the H&H manufacturing facility in Brooklyn to its Bristol, Pa. facility. Though most of the manufacturing will be brought in house, some items such as the baby powder will be manufactured elsewhere. Gentell is redesigning the H&H product packaging, so that each product will have a fresh new look.
Navazio notes, "This demonstrates Gentell's commitment to providing a complete, across-the-board solution for skin products. We really do 'make it better."
For 18 years, Gentell has led the wound and skin care industry in new product development and innovative cost-containment programs for nursing homes, hospitals, and home health agencies. The acquisition of H&H Products enables Gentell to provide a full array of skin care and skin protection products that patients need most to heal as quickly and naturally as possible.
