CONROE, TX, November 01, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robbert Kroeze, Owner and Vice-President/Chief Financial Officer of Houston Dutch Lions FC, has been selected as a VIP Member of National Association of Distinguished Professionals. The selection recognizes Robbert Kroeze's commitment to excellence in Athletics.
Robbert Kroeze began working for Houston Dutch Lions FC, a soccer club, in 2012 as a manager of operations. But due to poor management at that time, Mr. Kroeze's father, brother, and he decided to take over the club to make it run as a professional organization. In order to do so, they had to build up and rebrand the club within the community. Officially restarting the club on April 1, 2013, they rebranded their name, cleaned up the past, and moved forward in the direction of success by keeping promises and gaining back trust in the area.
"Being involved in this club, one of my drives and motivation is to see each player in our Youth Academy grow and develop every season through our program," Mr. Kroeze said. "The parents and kids that participate in our academy are very satisfied where the parents get a lot in return from their investment for their children. I am very excited to see all our youth players developing over the next 10-20 years where they'll have a big chance to take their soccer careers to the next level."
Mr. Kroeze's current role as VP and CFO for the organization is in overseeing financial matters. His current focus is in the process and development aspect of the new soccer facility. They are doing construction to include new artificial fields, build up the clubhouse and offices, which will be located at the Houston Dutch Lions FC Soccer Facility, and they are also looking to expand with additional parking spaces in the near future.
The Houston Dutch Lions FC has a Youth Academy, as well as year-round events consisting of Camps and Clinics, Tournaments, Technical Soccer School, Field Rentals, and Private Soccer Sessions.
Currently, Mr. Kroeze holds a BA in Business Administration from Wilmington College and an MBA in Sports Management from European University. Mr. Kroeze and the Houston Dutch Lions Club FC is also very active with their local Chamber of Commerce where they participate by donating and helping local businesses promote themselves by advertising at the soccer facility. They also contribute by volunteering and donating to the Montgomery food bank, and donate to US firefighters and the Kick for Cancer event annually.
Mr. Kroeze will be featured on the front cover of NADP's upcoming edition of Top 100 Industry Experts magazine in the fall of 2014.
