Washington, D.C. Plastic Surgeon Welcomes New Doctor to Practice

Ruff IV (www.ruffplasticsurgery.com), who has practiced in Washington, D.C. as a plastic surgeon since 2001, has brought a new physician onto his team. Facial plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Somenek will officially begin seeing patients at Ruff Plastic Surgery on Dec. 1.

Dr. Somenek specializes in plastic surgery for the face. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami and medical degree at Rush University in Chicago before pursuing specialized training in otolaryngology, or treatment of the head and neck. He completed a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and he is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

At Ruff Plastic Surgery, Dr. Somenek plans to use his research and practical experience for a variety of facial procedures, including facelift and eyelid surgeries and complex rhinoplasty, a personal passion.
