NEW YORK, NY, November 02, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- President Obama launched the Women's Entrepreneurship in the Americas (WEAmericas) initiative at the Summit of the Americas in 2012. The mission of the scheme is to leverage public-private partnerships to encourage inclusive economic growth in the Western Hemisphere. The initiative reduces barriers and increases opportunities for female entrepreneurs to start and grow SMEs by improving: access to markets, access to capital, skills and capacity building and leadership opportunities.
CroMex have looked into how WEAmericas has helped female entrepreneurs and discovered that as a result of the initiative, the public, private and non-profit partners are working together to build a stronger and more collaborative environment for women entrepreneurs. WEAmericas partnerships expect to benefit more than 20,000 women in more than 17 countries in the region by 2015. This is beneficial for everyone involved as it will aid economic growth and enhance competitiveness for firms and local economies.
CroMex is an outsourced sales and marketing firm located in New York. Run by an extremely successful female entrepreneur, the firm develops unique and personalized marketing campaigns for their clients that honestly and directly represent their products or services. CroMex then take these campaigns directly to consumers and their friendly sales reps build a strong rapport with each consumer which leads to improved customer acquisition, customer retention and brand awareness for their clients.
Managing Director of CroMex, female entrepreneur Corona Xu, supports the WEAmericas campaign and believes that it provides excellent opportunities for women to achieve their goals in business. Previously women have been victims of some prejudice in the work place which makes it more challenging for them to set up their own businesses. With the WEAmericas scheme this prejudice is lessened and female entrepreneurs receive the same opportunities as their male counterparts.
CroMex does their part to support all entrepreneurs by offering a Business Development Program. The program is for all of those involved in the firm to learn and expand on their business skills. Those involved are taught sales skills, leadership traits, public speaking, and decision making to name a few. The goal of the program is to develop young entrepreneurs so that they move through the firm from sales rep, to leadership and are given the skills to potentially open their own business in the future.
