Tuck & Daisy Not Crying Wolf With Album Crowd Funding Campaign

    PORTLAND, OR, November 08, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Indie folk band Tuck & Daisy, Oregon natives, have just recorded their first studio album, The Roar & The Quiet. They recently released a digital single off the upcoming album, while launching a crowdfunding campaign to offset the cost of CD production. They plan to release their debut CD in January 2015.

Tuck & Daisy recorded and mixed their upcoming 12-track LP with Kendra Lynn at Jackpot! Recording Studio in Portland; Lynn has worked with other renowned artists such as REM, Pearl Jam, Death Cab for Cutie and She & Him. Adam Gonsalves of Telegraph Mastering, also in Portland, mastered the album.

When downloading a free copy of "Don't Go Crying Wolf" you'll hear the influence of Joan Baez on Smith's voice as she liltingly howls throughout that tune. Likewise, the lyrical prowess of Dylan and Guthrie comes through in Isakson's original songwriting. Capturing the essence of their musical talents, The Roar & The Quiet takes listeners through an ebb and flow of human emotion with tender vocal harmonies that are simultaneously honest, innocent, and timeless. Smith's ukulele, is but one of the fresh breezes Tuck & Daisy bring to their LP and the indie folk scene. Another is Isakson's expressive guitar styling that captures the best of folk's root sounds.

Before the album can be released , Tuck & Daisy must successfully complete an IndieGoGo crowd funding campaign where The Roar & The Quiet is available to Pre-Order.
