HOUSTON, TX, November 08, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Most game players, whether of board games or electronic games, would list one of the benefits of gaming as having a chance to decompress and relieve stress. This used to mean turning to an electronic device, or carrying around a boxed board game that takes significant time to both setup and play. Thanks to gaming innovators MSP Games, and their breakthrough concept of Micro Play-Break games, people are able to play quick, fun micro-games wherever and whenever they have a few minutes and would like to liven up their day.
After successfully bringing the first Micro Play-Break game to market, "Micro Play-Break: Castles," MSP Games returned to the crowdfunding site Kickstarter to launch the second game in the series, "Micro Play-Break: Kingdoms." The response has been enthusiastic, with funding being met in just one day. Now all pledges help meet larger and larger exciting "stretch" goals that each add to the reward each backer will receive.
"We are really onto something special here," remarked a spokesperson from MSP Games. "What really sets this game apart is that the game is made up of a small quantity of highly durable materials, meaning Micro Play-Break: Kingdoms can be with you everywhere, even when you aren't specifically intending to carry around a game, by easily fitting into any wallet... making this a truly portable game."
According to the game's creator, the fact that Micro Play-Break games can be enjoyed in a wide number of different times and places greatly add to their appeal. Some popular places to play include: while waiting for food at a restaurant; standing in line for concert tickets; during a coffee break at work; between meetings at the office; on an airplane or a bus; and Doctor's offices. The only real limit is the imagination, and having a willingness to relax and enjoy a game or two.
Learning how to play "Micro Play-Break: Kingdoms" is quick and easy. Samples of the game play are featured on the project's Kickstarter page, and include a clever video which displays the pieces and playing board, all of which easily can fit into a wallet.
Play-break games have quickly become a hot topic of conversation.
John M., from Boston, recently said, "I was quick to get in on the Micro Play-Break: Kingdoms Kickstarter. I totally didn't want to miss out on the first run of games and after seeing the videos and reading about the concept I couldn't be more excited. I think it would be great to see a new type of board game catch on and I want to be part of it! If anyone ever needed this type of game for break at work it's me."

About MSP Games
MSP Games, LLC, a registered Texas company, was founded by Matt Pohl in 2014 to produce independently designed tabletop board and card games. Their first game concept came about as a result of some downtime on the job, a few minutes between responsibilities, where a quick and friendly competition between co-workers became the foundation for the Play-Break philosophy and the founding of MSP Games.
