Dr. William Coppola Recognized for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry

    SAN ANTONIO, TX, November 11, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. William Coppola, Founder of Northeast Children's Dentistry, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in pediatric dentistry.

For 39 years, Dr. William Coppola has been providing outstanding dentistry services to children throughout San Antonio. His family-friendly practice, Northeast Children's Dentistry, focuses on caring for children's teeth while also teaching them proper brushing practices to ensure a healthy smile and good behaviors from a young age. Dr. Coppola puts children's anxieties at ease by taking a friendly approach and a personal interest in his patients. For his exemplary care, Dr. Coppola was listed among the most Outstanding Dentists in Texas in 2013. He was also honored as one of "America's Top Dentists," and a "Peer-Selected Super Dentist" by Texas Monthly on three occasions.

Dr. Coppola earned a dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia after completing a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a concentration in child psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He also completed a two-year hospital-based specialty residency in pediatric dentistry in Pittsburgh, PA. Involved in his professional community, Dr. Coppola is a member of the San Antonio District Dental Society, the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association and the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry, where he works with dental students and pediatric dental residents.
