A Houston native and long time builder and contractor, Alan is a natural fit to lead this expansion. "I am excited to be part of the Mark Systems team and looking forward to bringing this opportunity to builders and developers throughout Texas," said Fails.

Fails has over 10 years of experience in both commercial and residential construction in Texas. A graduate of Sam Houston State University, he earned his BA in Business Administration in 1994. Fails then worked as a mortgage broker for 2 years before serving as Vice President for a building and development firm in Houston.

Alan and his wife, Amanda Fails are both active in the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), and members of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Amanda is a Realtor with Exit Lone Star Realty and the incoming President of the Womens Council of Realtors (WCR) for Montgomery County.
