Greg Boos is an Advocate for His Clients

    VANCOUVER BC, November 19, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Greg Boos, an Attorney at Cascadia Cross-Border Law who splits his time between Vancouver BC and Bellingham WA, has again been recognized for showing leadership and excellence in in the practice of US immigration law.

A results-oriented advocate with 30+ years of professional experience, Greg has been named one of the world's leading practitioners of US immigration and nationality law by the International Who's Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers. Based on peer reviews, Martindale-Hubbell has awarded Greg an AV Preeminent rating, a testament to the fact that his colleagues rank him at the highest level of professional excellence.

Greg utilizes his expertise in immigration law on a daily basis assisting multinational businesses in obtaining visas and/or work permits for executives and managers transferred to US branches. Greg is also known for his advocacy on border-related matters such as challenging orders of expedited removal. He is one of a handful of US attorneys who routinedly assists US nationals in expatriation matters (relinquishment or renounciation of citizenship).

Greg received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Idaho in 1977. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the bars of various US Federal courts. He is licensed as a Practitioner of Foreign Law by the Law Society of British Columbia, and is on List of Counsel approved by the International Criminal Court.

As an occasional author on immigration topics, Greg has written articles for "Immigration Briefings," "Immigration Law Report," "Bender's Immigration Bulletin," and various publications of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Most recently his co-authored a law review article appearing in the Seattle Journal of Environmental Law on right of access guaranteed by the Jay Treaty to American Indians born in Canada. He is a regular speaker at conferences where he shares his expertise on border security and other immigration-related issues.

Greg holds adjunct professor status with Western Washington University and acts as an external advisor to its Border Policy Research Institute. In his personal life, Greg enjoys early music and Italian and German opera.
