Brooks Eye Associates Expands Office Location

    PLANO, TX, November 20, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brooks Eye Associates, a comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery practice in Plano, Texas, is pleased to announce they have completed a three-phase renovation and expansion to their clinic. The expansion was complete November 14 and adds 1,300 square feet to the clinic. The additional space brings the total clinic size to approximately 3,800 square feet.

In addition to creating more exam lanes and a greatly expanded waiting area for patient convenience and comfort, the new space will allow Brooks Eye Associates to more proactively accept additional referrals from the various Optometric and Medical providers serving the community.

"The purpose of expanding our office was to accommodate additional patients in an atmosphere that was open and spacious, yet warm and welcoming at the same time," said Plano, Texas eye surgeon, Dain Brooks. "We would have outgrown the prior layout within the year and we wanted to provide our patients and referral sources with a superior clinical and aesthetic experience without having to pack up and find a bigger office somewhere else."

The additional space came from an underutilized clinic next door and was a three-phase demolition and construction project that began September 15.

The clinic now includes seven exam lanes, two special testing rooms, a new patient counseling room, three new administrative offices and a lobby large enough to comfortably seat 27 patients in an open and warm setting.

"This expansion was a complete team effort by an amazing staff," said Dr. Brooks. "We remained open during the construction and our team fought through the noise, dust and inconvenience with smiles and a great sense of humor - and without a single complaint.
