    PINE GROVE, PA, November 24, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pleotint, LLC manufactures, Suntuitive, a self-tinting window technology that darkens gradually and dynamically when heated by direct sunlight, without the need for any mechanical intervention. The glass technology uses heat generated by sunlight to tint windows, increasing energy efficiency and optimizing comfort and views.

When paired with LowE glazing and an insulated glass unit (IGU), Suntuitive glass can provide a visible light transmittance as high as 60 percent while in its clear state. Solar heat gain coefficients as low as 0.11 can be achieved when in the darkened state, reducing heating, cooling, and lighting related costs.
