Gary E. Cantor Honored for Excellence in Law

Mr. Cantor has 37 years of professional experience, which he brings to his role as a shareholder of Berger & Montague, P.C. As an expert in securities and commodities litigation and valuations, he also specializes in damage analysis and class-action litigation. On a daily basis, he is responsible for concentrating his practice on complex litigation, as well as the statistical analysis of securities trading patterns and pricing for determining materiality, loss causation and damages, in addition to aggregate trading models to determine class-wide damages. Looking back to the start of his career, Mr. Cantor became involved in his profession during the Watergate era, because he saw how law can be transformative.

Mr. Cantor received a JD from The University of Pennsylvania in 1977. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the ABA. He was named as an AV Preeminent Attorney for 2015 and he has been inducted into the Bar Register of Preeminent Attorneys by Martindale-Hubbell in 2014. In 2013, he received a 25th Anniversary Award commemorating his longevity as an AV Preeminent Attorney.
