[Start-Up] A Magical App That Extends Your Time, Statyou

    SEOUL, KOREA, December 03, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Recently, a lot of innovative 'Appccessaries' have been launched that combine various apps and wearable devices. Not only that, now there are tracking based mobile services that help users keep track of their everyday life through photos or data. In short, the era of self-management through mobile app has arrived.

Startup company Naksso (www.naksso.com) is gathering a lot of attention with their newly released tracking based time management service 'Statyou' that concentrates on "time management" which is a very crucial ability in modern society.

How many items on your to-do-list are being completed?

We spend our time juggling tasks and leisure. The slogan of Statyou is 'Review, don't plan'. It helps people not to be obsessed with making an impeccable time table that other ordinary time managing apps pursue.

"Time is very abstract. So we visualized the time in a day to be checked very easily," Yesol Jung the CEO of Naksso said. "It is more important for an individual to check what elements their day are composed of rather than making several plans without contemplating," she added.

Yesol Jung started developing this rather uncommon time analyzing and consulting service in 2012 when she attended a cultural gathering called 'Quantified self.' By looking closely at how the members of the group manage their time in their notebook with certain categories for time management, Yesol was able to specify the idea of the application.

The terms productivity and efficiency are not only limited to tasks at work. To achieve balance in your life, it is very important to broadly look at all the activities you do in a day including personal time.

This type of service that tracks an individual's activities has a limitation though, which is the inefficiency in entering data. As people get used to digital devices, they tend to avoid unnecessary activities. So even though the service is very good, it is not a desirable situation when the service makes users do extra things.

Statyou service provides users' every day time spending pattern and recommends plans and time management methods.

With this service users can get informed of when and where they spend time. The app also provides an index of balance, satisfactory level, productivity etc. helping users manage their time very efficiently.

"We are developing a curation service that recommends schedules for each user by analyzing their interests, habits, acts etc.," CEO Jung said.

Naksso

Naksso released the first beta version of Statyou for Andriod last March. Now they are investing in developing the technology to achieve intuitive UI/UX system and precise data collection and analysis. They plan to raise the current 60% of their data accuracy to 80 to 90 percent.

Naksso is now hiring app developers and they will release the second Android open beta service this coming December.

Also, to enter into the global market, they are looking to have a partnership with North American companies or investors. Naksso has been selected as a member of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP)'s NIPA innovative venture center and settled down in Nuri Dream Square in Sangam-dong in Seoul, getting support in marketing.
