SEOUL, KOREA, December 03, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Keeping a record of everyday events with a mobile camera is getting so much popular. Selfie sticks sell really well and people constantly share their lives through SNS anytime and anywhere they want. Digital development of photos or the service that makes frames for photos are also popular. But it is still not enough to share the everlasting good memories with your loved ones.
With the advance of email and SNS services, analog culture like exchanging letters or postcards are disappearing. New technology has made things convenient but it is hard to feel the warmth and affection of communication any longer.
SAMPOST
Sampost (sampost.co.kr) is the abbreviation of 'Send a lot of Memories' and their core idea is helping users to send a lot of beautiful memories to their loved ones. Think about receiving a card in a pretty envelop from your loved ones. How amazing is that?
The android version of Sampost was released last September and the service is very useful when you want to send your own postcards to friends and family who live far away.
It is very easy to use. In the app, open the photos you took and make them into postcards. With its easy and intuitive UI, everybody can easily make their own postcards in the app. From sharing exotic scenery in foreign countries to sending postcards to soldiers or elderly people, there are many cases that the service become useful. Users can also make invitation cards through this service for VIP events or important meetings. The service will be welcome for various marketing activities.

"I came up with this idea after seeing my wife buying postcards during our honeymoon in Europe," said CEO Seunghee Lee. He started providing the first mobile based postcard service in Korea.
The members involved in this project are all architecture majors. What relations could be found between architecture and postcard services? "Since we have always been doing a lot of planning and design works as architects, printing and producing a service were much easier for us. Putting one's feeling and emotion in a postcard was not different from architecture," they said.

With the character 'Sam', Sampost gives users the image of a postman delivering cards to them. The reason this service got this much attention in a very short time is because of its Fan letter service. The service provides celebrities' addresses provided by entertainment companies and a lot of young users use the fan letter function to send a card to celebrities.
Recently, in collaboration with an education service provider, Sampost made an event for parents sending a card to their children using the Sampost application. "We are going to extend our business for more various personal uses and marketing activities for companies," CEO Seunghee Lee said. Especially, they are going to market the service to people who live far away or who find it hard to use SNS like students who are studying abroad or soldiers.
After the release of the beta version last February, after 4 updates, the app is evolving to have a more user friendly UI/UX interface. Currently it costs 990 won per each card and there will be more variety and unique designs by season. Multi-selector function which enables the sender to send the cards to multiple people will be added too.
Sampost has been selected as a member of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP)'s NIPA innovative venture center and settled down in Nuri Dream Square in Sangam-dong in Seoul.
SAM (Send A lot of Memories) is a mobile application that allows users to create and send personalized post cards from their handheld mobile devices. SAM users can customize their cards by using their own photographic images or pictures that are available on SAM.
