MILWAUKEE, WI, December 06, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Residents from The Landmark of West Allis, an independent senior community in West Allis, WI, gathered together on December 2nd to serve those in need at St. Vincent de Paul on Martin Luther King Drive.
Eleven residents and three staff members donned aprons and hats to serve warm, nutritious food to the people of the Harambee neighborhood. Diners and servers alike enjoyed delightful conversations and smiles could be seen throughout the room. Residents who were not able to make the trip purchased over eighty pairs of gloves for the group to donate. "It was a heartwarming experience for all that went and we will continue to help this great cause," said Jason Soloninka, manager of The Landmark of West Allis.
